The Forum is being hosted by the Illinois Food Scrap Coalition and Chicago Sustainability Task Force. This solution-oriented discussion will dive into best practices and challenges in the use and processing of certified compostable plastic foodservice ware and packaging products. The Forum, moderated by Stephanie Katsaros, Bright Beat, features 5 panelists — Nora Goldstein, BioCycle; Rhodes Yepsen, Biodegradable Products Institute; Susan Thoman, Compost Manufacturing Alliance; Jamie Brown, Eco-Products; and Patrick Geraty, St. Louis Composting.
